Copper Wall Art Sculptures: French artist Pierre Matter is well known for his stunning copper sculptures. He was born in 1964 and was known to be very restless at school. He put his highly imaginative mind to good use by creating monster copper sculptures. I call them monster copper sculptures because some weigh as much as 1.5 tons. He follows the steampunk style when creating his sculptures, using copper, bronze, brass, stainless steel, and other materials to create his artwork.
