According to Muhamad Farid Husen,"It is really an honour for me to be a little part of Youth Olympic Games. I can't describe how my feeling is…being the designer of the medals which is used by all the winners of the Youth Olympics is an honour for me. My dream came true".
The Olympic medal has been inspired from fireworks. Many great nations come to celebrate their victories with a great display of fireworks. Fireworks always shoot to the sky with similarity to young athletes trying to reach their dream. Competition judge and Young Change-Maker, Emily A. Yeh said: "The winning design gives an energetic feel with unlimited possibilities, which is also what we hope to see from the YOG athletes and the young generation." Since 2010, Muhamad Farid Husen is the youngest designer to win the contest. The other winning designs were from Patrick Nair(Making Waves) from USA and Damien Perrin(Victory Road) from Switzerland.
