Digital Illustration: Simona Ceccarelli was born in Italy. Simona had a passion for both science and art, which led her to earn a doctorate in science. After working as a medical research scientist for almost 10 years, Simona followed her passion for art and completed illustration and visual development courses at San Francisco’s Academy of Art University. Since 2011, Simona Ceccarelli has created digital art illustrations, digital comic art, animation, advertising and character designs for children's books. Simona Ceccarelli currently lives in Switzerland with her husband and two children.
