2018 Luz Y Vanguardias Light Art and Graphic Design Contest
2. Competition: Independent artists and specialized companies take part in the competition section with works intended for the same building. A jury of experts awards the prize to the best creation.
3. Young Talent: Primarily for university students of Salamanca to discover their talents
4. Parallel Program: This program is promoted by numerous Salamanca’s museums and other art venues that will share the light as their common theme.
Participants: Artists, Design Companies, Individuals who wish to take part in the contest should write an email to info@luzyvanguardias.com, for receiving more technical specifications.
According to Luz Y Vanguardias,"The streets of Salamanca and their unique buildings become the festival’s stage where a selection of international artists, university students and companies in the fields of video creation and installation, project their creations, especially designed to relate with the architectural features of the selected buildings. The festival makes Salamanca the Spanish capital of the light art and the artistic creation related to this new trend. It is intended to be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of their age or artistic tastes".
