Play with Rubik's Cube Cake - Design by Cedric Grolet

Cedric Grolet is a French pastry chef whose culinary creations are as eye-catching as they are tasty. Grolet creates a wide variety of pastries, and his recent innovation is in cake design. He tried a new muse: Rubik's Cube cakes that are creative and colourful. This new take on the handheld puzzle is quite interesting, and the cake is actually a cube-shaped assortment of 27 individual pastries. He creates a variety of designs: a few are whimsical, some are neutral and others have elegant colour schemes covered with shimmering gold icing. Grolet's Rubik's Cube cakes are available at Le Dalí, a restaurant nestled inside Paris' luxurious Le Meurice hotel.
