Art Contest and Exhibition by Embracing Our Differences - 1 April 2021
The team invites artists to help create a society where diversity is appreciated and individuality is celebrated.
This year’s theme from Embracing our Differences is "enriching lives through diversity and inclusion".

Date of exhibit: 20 January 2021 – 1 April 2021
Venue: Bayfront Park in downtown Sarasota, Florida
Who can apply?
The exhibit is open to all artists, photographers, professionals, amateurs, students — everyone can participate. National and international submissions are encouraged. There is no submission fee.
Submission criteria
- The submitted artwork must be an original concept and execution. It should not be a copy or reproduction of the work of another.
- The work must exhibit artistic excellence and originality in reflection of the theme “enriching lives through diversity and inclusion.”
- The art must be horizontal in orientation which means that it must be wider than it is tall. Submissions that do not meet this requirement will be disqualified.
- The digital file must be a high resolution image of no less than 300 dpi.
- The entries must have a brief with a maximum of 200 words titled “Artist Statement” explaining the art, the creative process and/or what the theme means to the artist.
